What was changed on the obverse and reverse sides of banknotes in denomination of 10 Lari and why?

On the obverse side of the banknote, the excerpt from Akaki Tsereteli’s famous poem "Spring" with his autograph was added to emphasize the content, as well as the different portrait of Akaki Tsereteli and images of the flourishing branch and swallow were used in improved releif quality and volume for easier identification of denomination of the banknote.

 

On the reverse side of the banknote, the Coat of Arms of Georgia (as the mandatory attribute for currency notes) wasadded and the painting of famous Georgian painter David Kakabadze “Imereti my Mother” was used in improved quality and volume.
